PAKISTAN (LAHORE): Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira on Friday said that if the Punjab government would eliminate the militant hideouts in South Punjab, the federal government would not need to conduct an operation in the area.
While talking to media persons at the Lahore airport, Kaira said that it was wrong to think that they were abusing Punjab because of Punjabi Taliban.
He said that Chudhary Nisar had criticized the government on the issue of pay increase while being exasperated, and it had nothing to do with the PML-N policy.
Kaira said that in coalition government allies often took opposite stances from each other and that no one was leaving the government.
He said everyone including the government, opposition and the people were demanding the arrest of the culprits involved in the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
